Returns & Refunds Policy

Effective Date: October 8, 2025

The Constelling takes great care in ensuring that each artwork is prepared and shipped with attention. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to this Returns & Refunds Policy, which operates in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Damaged or Defective Works

If a work arrives damaged or materially different from its description, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. Include clear photographs or videos showing the artwork and its packaging as received. Claims without sufficient supporting evidence may not be accepted.

We will assess your claim and may offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate under Singapore’s Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (“CPFTA”).

We are not responsible for damage resulting from improper unpacking, handling, framing, hanging, storage, or environmental exposure after delivery. For high value artworks, we recommend recording the unpacking process to assist with any potential transit claims.

2. Photographic Prints & Digital Artworks

All sales of photographic prints and digital artworks are final, except where goods are defective or misdescribed. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

3. Original Artworks

We accept returns for original artworks within 14 days of delivery, provided the work is returned in its original condition and packaging. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping, insurance, customs duties, and taxes, and for ensuring safe transit.

Refunds will be issued for the artwork price only, excluding the original outbound shipping cost. Refunds are processed once the returned work is received and inspected in its original condition.

4. Return Shipping & Insurance

For artworks returned in accordance with this policy, buyers must arrange return shipping and insurance covering the artwork’s full value. We are not liable for loss or damage during return transit if the shipment is uninsured or improperly packaged.

All outbound shipments are covered by the shipper’s transit insurance until delivery. In cases where artworks are shipped directly from artists or printing partners, we ensure that shipments are insured through the courier’s insurance service.
