Shipping & Insurance Policy

The Constelling, coordinates global shipping for all artworks to ensure safe and reliable delivery. This Shipping & Insurance Policy outlines how we handle packing, transit, and coverage.

1. Shipping Overview

We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, carrier availability, and customs clearance. Estimated delivery timelines are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.

Some artworks or prints may be shipped directly from the artist’s studio or our printing partners. Regardless of origin, we coordinate all shipments to maintain consistent quality and handling standards.

2. Packaging & Handling

All artworks are packed to professional gallery standards using materials suitable for the medium. We recommend that buyers handle packages carefully upon arrival and retain original packaging until the work has been inspected.

3. Transit Insurance

All outbound shipments are covered by the shipper’s transit insurance for their declared value until delivery. This insurance protects against loss or damage during transit.

In cases where artworks or prints are shipped directly from artists or printing partners, we ensure the courier’s insurance option is selected to provide equivalent coverage.

4. Customs & Import Duties

International buyers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local fees. These charges vary by country and are not included in the artwork price or shipping fee at checkout.

Note on Shipping Origin for Singapore-Based Buyers


Artworks may ship from Singapore or directly from our artists’ or printing partners’ studios overseas:

– For artwork shipping directly from an overseas artist’s studio or printing partner, import duties, GST, or local taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the buyer.

– For artworks shipping from Singapore, no import taxes apply.

In all cases, the origin, shipping, and delivery details and costs are shown at checkout.

5. Delivery Confirmation & Risk Transfer

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once the shipment is delivered to the address provided. We recommend inspecting the package immediately upon arrival and documenting its condition.

If visible damage is noticed upon delivery, please photograph the packaging before opening and contact us within 48 hours.

6. Return Shipping & Insurance

For artworks approved for return under our Returns & Refunds Policy, buyers must arrange return shipping and insure the artwork for its full value. We are not responsible for loss or damage during return transit if the shipment is uninsured or improperly packaged.

This Shipping & Insurance Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.
